Al has gained extensive experience in the energy sector over more than 25 years, including roles at Shell and ExxonMobil. He has held various technical and managerial positions across Shell globally. As General Manager of Shell’s European CCS business, Al is responsible for leading and developing Shell’s CCS portfolio in Europe. He has held board-level roles and is currently Chair of Northern Lights Joint Venture. Al has an undergraduate degree in geology and a master’s in petroleum geology.
