Annika leads the carbon finance practice at CUR8, market infrastructure for carbon removals and climate action. She works between carbon removal developers and capital providers, structuring non-dilutive financing that ranges from working capital facilities against offtake agreements to project finance and outcome bonds. Alongside banks and institutional investors, she helps bring new capital into the market. Before CUR8, Annika was Head of Project Finance at a Brussels-based modular direct air capture company, where she led the financing strategy for deploying engineered removal capacity. Her background is in structured and project finance, and she holds an MSc in Climate Change Management and Finance from Imperial College Business School.
