
Diana Casey is Cement and ESG Director at the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), where she leads work on sustainability, climate policy and decarbonisation across the global cement and concrete sector.
She is an experienced senior leader in industry associations, with a strong focus on energy‑intensive sectors and their transition to net zero. Her expertise spans climate policy, emissions trading, energy efficiency and sustainable development.
Prior to joining GCCA, Diana spent over 15 years at the UK Mineral Products Association (MPA), where she rose to Executive Director for Energy and Climate Change and Cement and Lime, and shared CEO responsibilities as part of the executive management committee. In this role, she provided strategic leadership across the organisation, including oversight of major industry initiatives such as decarbonisation roadmaps and environmental reporting.
Throughout her career, Diana has represented the cement industry at UK, European and global levels, engaging with governments,regulators and international stakeholders. She served on the board of the Emissions Trading Group, and has contributed to global climate discussions including COP27 and COP28, as well as advisory work on carbon capture,utilisation and storage (CCUS).
