Richard has supported clients for more than 20 years on a wide range of development and permitting projects across the energy, refining,cement & lime, iron & steel, glass, chemicals and manufacturing sectors, including 19 energy/ decarbonisation DCOs to date.  More recently he has been the Project Director for the consenting and permitting of a number of CCS projects including NZT, Keadby 3, Peterhead CCS, Humber Zero, Viking CCS and H2Teesside.  He integrates the engineering design with the environmental assessments and stakeholder/ regulatory engagement to help deliver flexible and buildable consents.
