Viridor

Edita is an ESG director of energy-from-waste developer and operator Viridor, she has worked to develop and deliver the company’s ESG strategy, including its five-step decarbonisation roadmap.

Edita has produced three annual ESG reports so far, all externally verified, and has focused on ensuring that all claims made by the company are substantiated. She was also instrumental in developing and launching the company’s We Share Fund, a £340,000-per-year programme that supports local organisations based near Viridor’s energy recovery facilities.

She also sits on the board of directors at the Carbon Capture and Storage Association and supports Viridor’s work to advance its CCS project at its Runcorn EfW facility, in Cheshire and was included in the ENDS Report Power List 2025, the UK’s 100 most impactful environmental professionals.
