Egil A. Fagerland has more than 10 years of experience from the energy industry. In 2024 he was appointed CEO of SLB Capturi, a dedicated carbon capture company enabling carbon reduction and carbon removal at scale.
Fagerland has held a number of corporate and finance key positions. He served as the CEO of Aker Carbon Capture and held position of CFO in the company. He was the SVP Group Controlling and Financial Systems in Aker Solutions, and Head of Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Systems in DeepOcean.
Fagerland holds a master’s degree in economics and business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
