James joined Viridor in 2020. He has worked in a number of different roles across the business and has recently been promoted to CCUS Director in the Carbon Capture and Circular Solutions division. James is responsible CCUS project development which will help deliver the organisation’s pathway to climate positivity, including the flagship Runcorn CCS project.
A Chartered Engineer with the IMechE, he has over a decade of experience working across the Energy industry, working on projects at all stages of life, from conception through operations to decommissioning. In this time he has worked within on and offshore wind, heat networks, thermal (gas fired) power, oil and gas, resource recovery and energy from waste industries providing him broad experience of the UK energy and broader energy transition sectors.
