MalteBornkamm is Head of Division IV E 2 “Industrial Decarbonization MarketFramework, International Cooperation” in the German Federal Ministry ofEconomic Affairs and Energy. Before he held different positions in the Industryand European General Directorates of the Ministry and in the PermanentRepresentation to the United Nations in New York. Malte Bornkamm is a lawyer byprofession and has acquired a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of CapeTown on the nexus between International Environmental and Trade Law
