
Marsaili Van Looy is a solicitor and research fellow at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on the regulation of green house gas removals across the UK and the development of regulatory and contractual processes in carbon capture and storage. Marsaili works primarily as a researcher for the CO2RE Greenhouse Gas Removal Hub, and her legal research spans both terrestrial and marine greenhouse gas removal projects. Marsaili isalso a solicitor qualified in Scotland, practising previously in construction law at an international law firm.
