Per Christian Honningsvåg is the Energy and Resources Business Leader for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Microsoft, where he leads Microsoft’s regional strategy across Oil & Gas, Mining, and Power & Utilities. He works closely with energy companies to apply AI, enhance cybersecurity, modernize operations, and accelerate the transition to a net-zero future.
With a global perspective shaped by his previous role as Global Strategy Director for Power & Utilities at Microsoft’s headquarters in Redmond, Washington, Per Christian brings deep expertise in digital transformation, business strategy, and industrial innovation. His career spans leadership roles in strategy, finance, and business development across top-tier technology and industrial automation firms. He holds a Master of Science in Business and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering.
