Rickard Johansson holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Process Design from Lund Institute of Technology. He currently serves as Head of CCUS & Hydrogen at Alfa Laval Headquarters, based in Lund, Sweden.

With over 14 years of experience in business development, Rickard has built expertise in heat transfer technologies, heat integration, and energy efficiency improvements. His work has spanned across the Renewable Energy sector, the Process Industry, and the evolving fields of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) and Hydrogen technologies.

Rickard is driven by a strong passion for innovation and sustainability. He is committed to advancing technological solutions that support the global transition toward net-zero emissions, and takes pride in contributing to Alfa Laval’s role in enabling a more sustainable future.
