Based in Perth, Australia, Rosie Johnstone is a CCS Specialist at Full Circle Carbon. With more than over 25 years of experience as a geologist in subsurface resource development, she is recognised authority on Australian CCUS policy, regulatory alignment, and coordination across industry and research sectors. Between 2023 and 2026, Rosie served as the Inaugural Chair of the CCUS Network Australia (CCUSNA). Her extensive background includes leading Shell Australia’s CCS sink identification across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region from 2015 to 2021. Most recently, from 2021 to 2025, she was the Head of CCS Solutions at GeoVault, where she led a team identifying, assessing, and ranking onshore CO₂ storage opportunities across Western Australia's Kimberley, Pilbara, and Mid-West regions.
Rosie has written numerous government submissions for CCUSNA and recently organised the network's two-day WA CCUS Hubs Workshop.
