Ryo Yamada is a Commercial Manager at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA, based in London. For nearly a decade, he has focused on business development and commercial activities in the carbon capture sector, supporting the deployment and commercialization of MHI's proprietary carbon capture technology.
He has been involved in the development of major CCUS projects in Europe, contributing to the growth of MHI's carbon capture business and the wider adoption of decarbonisation solutions in the region. His experience spans business development, commercial negotiations, contract management, and project execution support.
In his current role, he works closely with customers, project developers, and strategic partners to originate new opportunities, structure commercial frameworks, and support the successful delivery of carbon capture projects.
