Prior to joining Howden, Vipul was with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), a statutory board of the Singapore Government responsible for investment and growth of the country’s various business sectors. As a manager of the Energy & Resources division he handled Investment negotiation and facilitation for some of the world’s largest Energy and Renewables companies, namely: Chevron, Aramco, PetroChina, Sinopec, Arlanxeo, REC Solar, Reliance, and Envision. With these companies he was also engaged in Energy Transition Strategy Development which looked into knowledge sharing and investment opportunities in Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage, Hydrogen, BioFuels & Pyoil, Low-Carbon Power Generation and Energy Efficiency Upgrades.
Now in Howden, Vipul forms part of two divisions, the Natural Resources & Climate Risk and Resilience Divisions and co-leads the development of Energy Transition risk solutions globally with a focus on Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Carbon Credits. His background in Energy, Renewables and Power, allows him to work and advise on both traditional and emerging risk solutions for his Clients.
